“The Malcolm Gladwell of the Torah”—that’s how fans describe Madlik Disruptive Torah, where sharp insight meets sacred text.

A former yeshiva student with a lifelong love of Jewish learning, Geoffrey Stern approaches tradition with deep respect and a fresh, sometimes heterodox perspective on its meaning and practical implications.

His journey began in Williamsburg with Rav Shmuel Dishon of Karlin-Stolin and continued at Yeshiva Torah Vodaas, where he had the privilege of studying with Rav Moshe Wolfson zt”l. He later studied at Yeshivat Be’er Yaakov in Israel under Rav Shlomo Wolbe zt”l.

After six years in the yeshiva world, Stern pursued philosophy and economics at Columbia College, studying with Sidney Morgenbesser, Elaine Pagels, David Weiss Halivni, and Moshe Held.

Madlik explores the roots of Jewish texts and traditions while helping shape a living, thoughtful Jewish legacy.
