(1) And it will be that all these things come to you—the blessing and the curse that I have set before you—and you return to your heart amidst all the various nations to which the The Holy One your G*d has banished you to there,(2) and you return to YHVH your G*d, and you and your children heed G*d's voice with all your heart and soul, just as I command you this day,(3) then the YHVH your G*d will return you your (returns)/good fortunes and return to gather you in love again from all the peoples where YHVH your G*d has scattered you.(4) ...... (8) You, however, will return and heed G*d and obey all the Holy One's commandments that I enjoin upon you this day.(9) And the Holy One your G*d will grant you abounding prosperity in all the works of you hands, in the fruit of your womb, the offspring of your cattle, and the fruit of your soil. For The Holy One will return to delight in your well-being, as G*d did in that of your fathers,(10) for you will heed YHVH your God and keep G*d's commandments and laws that are recorded in this book of the Teaching—once you return to the LORD your God with all your heart and soul.

ושבת עד יהוה אלוהיך, "And you will return unto the Lord your G'd." The expression ושבת is stronger than והשבת אל ללבך, as I explained. The former does not refer to repentance but to a reinforcing of the faulty life-outlook of the sinning Jew who finds himself in exile. The Torah makes this plain by adding the words עד השם.

הכתובה בספר התורה הזה, as He said when He said: והתהלכתי בתוככם והייתי לכם לאלוהים ואתם תהיו לי לעם, “I shall walk freely in your midst and will be your G’d and you will be My people” (Leviticus 26,12) This promise will be fulfilled when כאשר יהוה ישוב לשוש עליך...לטוב כי תשמע, as He had once delighted in your forefathers (the patriarchs). This time the good you will experience at G’d’s hands will not be due to the merit of the patriarchs but will be due to the fact that your repentance is so wholehearted and unreserved. Due to your unreserved repentance your former demerits will be converted into merits, seeing that it was, after all, these demerits and what followed that have become the catalyst of your eventual return to G’d. You will enjoy G’d’s goodwill just as did the patriarchs.

Counting the instances of shuv reveals seven. The number of completion.
SEVEN TURNINGS from Netzavim
#1 the first turning mentioned in the parashah is toward OUR HEART first to who we really are. Not to hide, to embrace our essence
#2 - and then to G*d, to be open to spirituality beyond our understanding, the heart of the universe
#3 Sforno says we turn away from our e faulty life-outlook – perhaps that negative outlook that finds fault in all#4 and #5 We must turn our eyes back to the prior year, and embrace its truth. Yes we messed up, but that’s a given, and Torah here says and G*d turns to delight in us! Because our return is returning is so wholehearted and unreserved.
#6 Return to childhood or to pay attention to your children.Thomas Wolf’s book you can’t go home again, I think talks about home as a heart place, a spark of innocence and love and beauty that remains at our core, no matter how much life batters us or how many wrong choices we make
#7 Has to be to return to the earth and health for our bodies This upcoming year is a shmita year
The seven returns? Perhaps a perfect homecoming of the heart.
With the turning our story, our hearts;, the land can be healing, and community can become medicine, instead of toxin
Hashivenu – turn us and we will turn, renew our days!

(19) I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day: I have put before you life and death, blessing and curse. Choose life—if you and your offspring would live—
