Benefits of routine and structure
"Creativity is commonly thought to depend on freedom and a lack of constraints. While this is true to a large extent, it neglects the creative potential of structure and constraints… Freedom, while important for motivation and creativity, also implies complexity and cognitive load, and that this may, paradoxically, diminish creative performance.”

I give thanks to You living and everlasting Ruler for You have restored my soul with mercy. Great is Your faithfulness.
Blessed are You, Lord our God, Ruler of the Universe, Who causes the fetters of sleep to fall upon my eyes, and slumber upon my eyelids. May it be Your will, Lord, my God and God of my ancestors to make me lie down in peace, and to raise me (again) to peace. Let my thoughts not terrify me— nor evil dreams or evil fancies (disturb me), and may my bed be perfect before You. And light up my eyes lest I sleep the sleep of death, for You illuminate the pupil of the eye. Blessed are You, Lord, Who illuminates the whole world with God's glory.
What is chavruta learning?
“Traditionally, chavruta is a learning partnership where two people study a text together… each person and the text itself (deemed one of the partners) is valued and valuable. The process of chavruta learning creates an atmosphere and experience where a text is understood in new ways, more deeply, and with the potential of being transformative… [including] curiosity, listening, openness, empathy.”
