This is the Simchat Bat ceremony my wife, Leah, and I organized for our firstborn daughter, Yonit Or. The overall framework can be found in the Koren Siddur, but we made a number of additions. Our hope is that by uploading this to Sefaria, the Simchat Bat ceremony can be more accessible and customizable.

Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the Universe, who creates fruit of the vine.

May the One who blessed our fathers, Avraham, Yizḥak and Yaakov, and our mothers, Sarah, Rivka Raḥel and Leah, may He bless X daughter of X who has given birth in good fortune. May the Holy One, Blessed be He, protect her and deliver her from all trouble and distress, all infection and illness, and send blessing of success to all the work of her hands, together with all of Israel, her brothers and sisters, and let us say: Amen.

May the One who blessed our mothers, Sarah, Rivka Raḥel and Leah, and Miriam the Prophetess, Avigayil, and Queen Esther daughter of Aviḥayil, bless this pleasant girl – and may her name in Israel be called !!! daughter of X in good fortune and at a blessed hour. May she be raised in health, peace and tranquility, and may her father and mother merit to see her joy, her Torah learning, her wedding canopy and the success of her path in happiness and honor. And so, may it be Your will, “Even in old age, they will still bear fruit, always lush and fresh, proclaiming the Lord is upright” (Ps. 92:15), and let us say: Amen.

Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the Universe, who has given us life, sustained us, and brought us to this time.

May God make you like Sarah, Rivka, Raḥel and Leah. May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord turn His face toward you and grant you peace.

May it be the will of our Father in heaven, that He set in your heart the love and awe of Him all your days, so that you do not come to sin. May your desire be for the Torah and the commandments. May your eyes look straight before you; may your mouth speak wisdom and your heart meditate in awe; may your hands be occupied with the commandments and may your feet run to do the will of your Father in heaven.

May He who blessed our ancestors, Avraham, Yizḥak and Yaakov, bless the members of Israel’s Defence Forces and its security services who stand guard over our land and the cities of our God from the Lebanese border to the Egyptian desert, from the Mediterranean Sea to the approach of the Aravah, and wherever else they are, on land, in air and at sea. May the Lord make the enemies who rise against us be struck down before them. May the Holy One, blessed be He, protect and deliver them from all trouble and distress, affliction and illness, and send blessing and success to all the work of their hands. May He subdue our enemies under them and crown them with deliverance and victory. And may there be fulfilled in them the verse, “It is the Lord your God who goes with you to fight for you and against your enemies, to deliver you.” And let us say: Amen.

May He who blessed our ancestors, Avraham, Yizḥak and Yaakov, Yosef, Moshe and Aharon, David and Shlomo, bless, protect and guard the members of Israel’s Defense Forces missing in action or held captive, and other captives among our brethren, the whole house of Israel, who are in distress or captivity, as we, the members of this holy congregation, pray on their behalf. May the Holy One, blessed be He, have compassion on them and bring them out from the darkness and the shadow of death; may He break their bonds, deliver them from their distress, and bring them swiftly back to their families’ embrace. Give thanks to the Lord for His loving-kindness and for the wonders He does for the children of men; and may there be fulfilled in them the verse: “Those redeemed by the Lord will return; they will enter Zion with singing, and everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.” And let us say: Amen.
