(1-3) Come, let us sing joyously to God, raise a shout for our rock and deliverer; let us come into the divine presence with praise; Let us shout out in song! For the Eternal is a great God, the great ruler of all divine beings.

L’khu n’ranana l’Adonai, nari’a l’tzur yishenu.

N’kad’ma fanav b’todah, biz’mirot nari’a lo.

Ki El gadol Adonai, u’melekh gadol al kol-Elohim

Method

More than the melodies! At Nava Tehila, we've developed chant-based prayer services that are inclusive, ecstatic, and transformative. Ready to bring this musical prayer method to your community? Check out our tutorials.

Kavvanot

In the Nava Tehila method, kavvanot, intentions for inner engagement with the words of prayer, are developed through close attention to the language of the psalms: Pshat, Midrash, and Kabbalistic and Hasidic illumination.
