(16) the angel who hath redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named in them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.’

Optimism within Emunah and Bitachon
Expectancy theory
"An individual will decide to behave or act in a certain way because they are motivated to select a specific behavior over other behaviors due to what they expect the result of that selected behavior will be." (wiki)
*Therefore, if a person has an outlook of Emunah/optimism, and he expects things to go smoothly in whatever way Hashem seems fit, he will behave in line with this perspective and involve himself in positive things!

(5) He would say: a brute does not fear sin, an Am Ha'aretz [one who is lax in observing tithes and purity laws] cannot be devout, one who is bashful cannot learn, one who is impatient cannot teach, not every one who increases in commerce becomes wise, and in a place where there are no men strive to be a man.
