This is a call-and-response piyut recited before Kedushah on the second day of Rosh Hashanah. We have revived its original call-and-response format, in which only the leader chants the changing alphabetical lines, and the kahal answers with the simple refrain. The chorus is sung together. יְהֹוָה מֶלֶךְ. יְהֹוָה מָלָךְ. יְהֹוָה יִמְלֹךְ.
יָהּ מֶלֶךְ, יָהּ מָלָךְ, יָהּ יִמְלֹךְ לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד.
