A Worldwide First: Kli Yakar in English
Sefaria recently released the first-ever complete English translation of Kli Yakar, the widely studied Torah commentary by Rabbi Shlomo Ephraim of Luntschitz. This is also Sefaria's first complete AI-assisted translation. Generated with Claude 3.7, then refined over six months by Sefaria Translation and Research Specialist Francis Nataf, this project brings together cutting-edge technology with rigorous human scholarship.
