Another Purim Bump on the Books
Every year, Sefaria prepares its infrastructure for a boost in user traffic that we call the Purim Bump. Basically, this happens when scores of Jews around the world access the Library on the same day as they follow along at Megillah readings. This year was no different! Dedicate a Digital Torah Letter
On the final day of Passover, in just a few days, many Jews around the world will recite the prayers of Yizkor, the memorial service for deceased loved ones that occurs four times a year. Ahead of this time of remembrance, we want to remind you that Sefaria’s Global Community Torah allows you to “scribe” a letter in this collaborative digital Torah scroll in honor or in memory of a person of your choosing. Writing a letter is completely free and adds your loved one’s name to a globally connected celebration of our textual heritage.
