(28) When an ox gores a man or a woman to death, the ox shall be stoned and its flesh shall not be eaten, but the owner of the ox is not to be punished. (29) If, however, that ox has been in the habit of goring, and its owner, though warned, has failed to guard it, and it kills a man or a woman—the ox shall be stoned and its owner, too, shall be put to death.

(1) Free will is granted to all men. If one desires to turn himself to the path of good and be righteous, the choice is his. Should he desire to turn to the path of evil and be wicked, the choice is his.
This is [the intent of] the Torah's statement (Genesis 3:22 : "Behold, man has become unique as ourselves, knowing good and evil," i.e., the human species became singular in the world with no other species resembling it in the following quality: that man can, on his own initiative, with his knowledge and thought, know good and evil, and do what he desires. There is no one who can prevent him from doing good or bad. Accordingly, [there was a need to drive him from the Garden of Eden,] "lest he stretch out his hand [and take from the tree of life]."
(6) Joshua ben Perahiah used to say: find yourself a teacher, and make for yourself a friend, and judge all people with the scale weighted in their favor.
A person would not want to teach another without quoting the proper source. If you teach something without attributing it to your teacher or the proper source you cause the Shekhinah (divine spirit) to depart from amidst the Jewish People.
And Rava said: If there is a teacher of children who teaches a few subjects, and there is another who teaches more subjects than him, one does not remove the first teacher from his position to hire the second, as perhaps the other teacher will come to be negligent due to the lack of competition. Rav Dimi from Neharde’a said: On the contrary, all the more so is it the case that he will teach in a better manner if he knows that he is the sole instructor in the place, as jealousy among teachers increases wisdom. The one who was dismissed will try to refine his skills so that he will be rehired, and this will prevent negligence on the part of the other teacher.
Sefer HaChinuch[6] explains that G-d created every aspect of this world with a certain nature so that it can function in the way that is best for the world. He commanded that every element of nature fulfill the purpose for which it was made.
G-d also created spiritual (angelic) forces that energize every aspect of this world and ensure that they function in the proper way. If any of these spiritual forces are mixed, the physical elements that they energize will be altered. Mankind is forbidden from mixing these forces in certain ways (i.e., through magic) as G-d knows that the ultimate effect on the world from this sort of mixture, is negative. -From the Sefaria Sheet "Artificial Intelligence Versus Free Will Who is Responsible?" by Rabbi Dina Rosenberg
